… and I am another year older (yes I know it comes to us all!) Did I have a good time I hear you ask, well yes actually I did, thanks. I got a little messy and put together a set of drawers that my best pal sent me, I seem to have had them for quite a while now and thought it was about time they took on the correct form rather than being flat packed! You can see what they look like in the “bare” form over at Gina’s Designs.
As I said, the pieces come flat packed and you decorate them how you like, so I got out the Gesso and paint and set about turning the wood bits blue. Once that was set aside to dry I assembled the drawers, I cheated a little by using some plain pink card-stock for the sides and backs (well you don’t see them do you 🙂 ) I then used some patterned papers from Fancy Pants to decorate the fronts of the drawers as this matches with my Desk organiser that I made some time back.

Now all I need to do is sort out what I am going to put in it – don’t think that will take too long do you ?

The image I used is called Lizabeth- Wild Daisies Digi Set, the papers just cried out to be used with her. I coloured her with copic’s and cut her out with a Nellie Snellen die. The theme this month is Metal Magic, so I used some rainbow mirror card for my flourishes (well its kind of metal isnt it!)

I have been having yet another play with February’s Clarity Design Club stamp. This one was stamped with Versamark and then had Mica powder applied. I then cut up the squares and cut out the circle part and assembled them back together to give the 2 toned look to each corner.

I have been playing with my Clarity Stamp Club stamp for February, the more I look at it, the more shapes I can see to cut out, I stamped it this time with Versamark and then used Mica powder over the top, you cant see from the picture but the pink flowers have a really great coppery sheen to them.
