Today I have for you a clock made by Gina’s designs decorated using the papers from my warehouse box from Prima. The box I got was packed full of goodies and in amongst it were some wonderful papers which as usual I didn’t want to give away (we have all been there I’m sure) so I decided to use them to decorate my clock with.
I decided that the second hand really wasn’t the right colour (bright red lol) so I coloured it with copics (alcohol pens) and distress paint. The feathers are covered with wow embossing powder as is the string along I used.
Still on Holiday in the Sunny South East of England, we enjoyed a geocaching walk yesterday in the sunshine only to end in tears as number one son managed to crack the top of his head on some concrete, not a pretty site but all is well now.
Today we are off to London to the Science Museum but I wanted to share with you the fab challenge over at the Crafty Bloggers Network, you could win this great prize from Cullen Crafts
or you could win some fab digital images from our second sponsor this month, Sassy Studio
Here is my Design Team project for this month:
All the items used in my creation are available at our sponsor this month Cullen Crafts
I had a wonderful afternoon yesterday over at Cullen Crafts with the talented Sarah Carrington making tis wonderful shadow box. We didnt quite have the time to finish it off so I completed mine this morning. I am so please with the way it turned out, now all I have to do it find somewhere to put it.
I have been in a swap recently over at Mini Album Scraps that involved making a mini album using the cardboard tubes from the middle of a toilet paper roll. I had great fun making one of these as my partner Matilda’s favourite colours are pink, black and white. These are not colours that I normally work with on albums as I have 2 boys.
Here is Matilda’s video of the Album that I sent to her:
Yesterday I received a package from Matilda with this awesome album in it:
Isn’t it wonderful, I need to find some pictures to put in it now.
I finished off a couple of ATCs this morning for swaps I am taking part in. The heart ones are for the February swap over at Crafty Ideas by Kaz where the theme is Hearts and Lace and the others are for Swap Bot ones. I have been trying out a few new ideas, the first one being some artist paste and stencil, this provided the background for the first card. The 2nd idea was making my own tissue tape sort of thing, this I used on the second card.
I have recently joined a site called Mini Album Scraps where they do some really great swaps of tags, charms, mini albums and a whole heap more, head on over to have a look.
I had a great time making this dress form tag for the swap this month, the theme was Shabby Chic. I made a phone charm “necklace” for each tag so that it could be used by the girls that receive them.
I used paper from a digital scrapbook collection by Gina called Sisters and Friends to cover the front and back and to make the rosette, the flowers come from My Craft Studio’s Paper Flower Expert CD and the charms, ribbon and sticky ribbon came from Cullen Crafts. I cut the label for the back using my Nesties.
