Hi there blogging buddies, I hope all the Mums in the UK had a great day yesterday. Its time for another Inspiration Monday over at Crafty Bloggers Network and today I am sharing with you the card I made for my wonderful Mum
Lucy Cromwell Die cut decoupage by Docrafts
Flowers from Petal Lu
Cardstock from stash
Xcut and Nellie Snellan Dies
Challenges I would like to enter this card in:
Country View Challenges – Pick and Mix
Bunny Zoe’s Crafts – Girly
There, I said it! It is not very often that anyone associates these 3 words with me but I had to make a birthday card for my niece and she loves pink. It just so happens that I bought the Creative Cardmaking Magazine this week and it had the perfect images and papers inside (with an added smile by me) from Pink Gem Designs
I made a pop-up for the inside of the card to add a little bit of interest to it
I am hoping that my Mum can’t remember my blog, (if that’s not the case then Mum this is your card lol) I was so pleased with the way this turned out, I have wanted to try this technique out for ages and Sue Wilson has great step by step instructions on her blog
Here is a close up of the embossed card. I used the Spellbinders Parisien die sets to create the embellishments. The image is a digital image from Just Inklined simply called Rose coloured with Copic Ciao pens.
In the summer, when I went down to visit my mother, I introduced her to cardmaking and she has gone from “I cant be bothered to faff about” to “look at the card I made” in a short space of time. I couldnt resist showing this one off (she doesnt have a blog of her own) and entering it into the Allsorts Challenge this week, I am so proud of her!
