I purchased all 5 sets of Lisa’s stamps from Set Craft and have made a set of cards with them. I thought I would share a step by step tutorial on how I created them.
Here is the set I created. Unfortunately I couldnt capture the shine on the backgrounds that the Pixie Powders create.
Today’s post is a lot about stamping and a little die cutting. I took an 8 x 8 scalloped card and stamped the Filigree Peony stamp (by John Lockwood) in Brilliance copper ink all around the outside. I used the stamp twice before reinking it giving me the faded look with some of them.
I used the Ravello striplet die which I cut 4 times around a piece of pearlised card to form a square backgrounds and backed this with a copper card cut with the double pierced square dies to leave a small border. I stamped the Tuileries Frame Stamp in perfect medium and embossed it with copper embossing powder. I cut it out with the Auckland die (outside and centre) and trimmed around the stamped part in the centre. I used the decorative centre from the die in the copper card.
I finished the card off with a few gems coloured with copies to match with the card colours.
Here is a card I made using a few new dies and the Bed of Roses embossing folder all by Sue Wilson. The finished card measures 7 1/8″ square.

Well here I am again, ages since my last post but a lot has been happening around here. Both of our boys have started to surf over the summer largely thanks to NAS Moray and Nairn. Number one son has made the huge transition to secondary school. Thankfully the support is SO much better than his primary school and he is doing quite well.
As you can imagine, with all this going on, I haven’t really had much time to craft. I have manage to make a card this weekend for the fab staff in the canteen at the academy as they have been brilliant in helping out with number one son being able to get lunch that he likes to eat.
The finished card size is 7 1/4″ square
