Where does it go I wonder, it only seems like yesterday that we were bringing home this tiny bundle of a boy who would change our lives forever. The first of our 2 sons was born 9 years ago today and he’s growing up so quickly.
Here he is just a month ago with his cheeky grin!
and here is the birthday card I made for him using the Wellington Ultimate Decoupage pack from DoCrafts
This is my DT inspiration card this week over at The Crafty Bloggers Network Blog – Don’t forget our DT call ends next week!
Challenge number 3 over at Designed to Color is to use washi tape so I made a flower by covering a piece of white card with washi tape and then I punched it out. I used Pipi Petal digital stamp from Make It Crafty and coloured her with my copic pens to match the luscious Happy Days Paper from Do Crafts. The sentiment came from one of the Lucy Cromwell Stamp collections also from Do Crafts.
I just love this cute stamp from Forever Friends, it is a digi stamp from the Best of British DVD by DoCrafts and I coloured him with Copics, some of the papers were a freebie with Crafts Beautiful Magazine and the others came from the Portobello road DVD by DoCrafts. The card is made using a sketch from the current challenge over at Sunday Sketch and stamp although mine uses a little “artistic licence”
The challenge over at the craftymess challenge blog is to use the sun or moon in your creation so I had a think about it and came up with this:
The silver mirror paper is supposed to be rays of the sun although it is a little difficult to see as it didn’t turn out quite like I had planned, but then my cards rarely do.

Copic Marker Europe are celebrating their birthday for a whole month, they have a lot of surprises for you. They were also giving away an image for you to make a card with, you could choose from a wonderful image by Krista from Saturated Canary called Traveling Colors or another cute image from Sylvia Zet from Wee stamps. I chose the Traveling Colors image as I am a huge fan of Krista’s images and made this card with her:
Here is a close up of the image:
A perfect card for a like-minded crafty friend who loves colouring as much as me 😉 now all I have to do is find one LOL.
I am also going to enter this into the challenge of Anything Goes at Tammys Scrapin Corner this week.

It is Friday, its 5 o’clock and its………Crackerjack! Oops no it’s not, showing my age there I think (for those of you who read my blog from elsewhere please Google Crackerjack kids program lol)
It is ATCs and Cards with Attitude challenge time, this week I decided to make a card with the image from our sponsor I coloured it with Copics and mounted it onto a circle and scalloped circle cut with my Nesties. I used some of the Lucy Cromwell paper (from DoCrafts) with bunting flags on for my background.
When a friend asked me to make a New Great Grandparents card I was a little worried to start with as I wasnt sure how I was going to achieve this. In comes Wellington from Do Crafts and Tim Holtz Distress Markers from my favourite craft shop. I’m in love! these markers are great, they blend so well, although I will say I did find one paper they didn’t move on at all (not sure of the make as it was an odd scrap I had) Out came the distress inks to make the stark white card match the image and voila.
I love the way the card turned out (so did my friend thankfully) I used Tumbled Glass and Broken China distress ink pads and markers.
