OK I know, I didnt last very long with my promise of blogging once a week did I? I must try harder!
Here is a new Instructable that I have written and I would love it if you go and take a peek
Hi bloggers, here is a project I made with all the little scraps from my typography papers as the background to the canvas (Hels Sheridan calls it paper blocking and I love the idea, thanks Hels). I used the Typography stamps to add some more interest to the background. The paper roses are made using spellbinders and Marianne dies. The pen is from one of the Typography stamp sets, stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing powder.
I am going to be doing a class on this one in February over at Cullen Crafts.
Here are the other 2 things I made using the decorative diamond stamp from Oak House Studios for the One Stamp Project. For these two projects I used shrink plastic.
I used the stamp to make the kite for the wee boy to fly
I have saved the best until last in my opinion, I really love how this jewelry set came out and plan to run a class on how to make it at Cullen Crafts.
My DT card for the Friday Sketch Challenge this week features items from A Walk in the Countryside CD. I purchased this a while ago when it was on Create and Craft but have not used it up until now.
The main image has been triple embossed and all the papers, image and embellishments are from the CD, except the leaves, which are cut using a new Crafts Too die available at Cullen Crafts. The Thank You stamp is from the Chronology Freebie set that came with the Docrafts Magazine.
Gina’s Designs has a giveaway once a fortnight on a Friday and last week was a set of Honey Bee inspired elements, please go and check it out on her blog.
Here is a tag I made using the printable

I am submitting this to the DT call at ABC challenge here

Still on Holiday in the Sunny South East of England, we enjoyed a geocaching walk yesterday in the sunshine only to end in tears as number one son managed to crack the top of his head on some concrete, not a pretty site but all is well now.
or you could win some fab digital images from our second sponsor this month, Sassy Studio
Here is my Design Team project for this month:
All the items used in my creation are available at our sponsor this month Cullen Crafts
I had a wonderful afternoon yesterday over at Cullen Crafts with the talented Sarah Carrington making tis wonderful shadow box. We didnt quite have the time to finish it off so I completed mine this morning. I am so please with the way it turned out, now all I have to do it find somewhere to put it.
I joined an ATC swap group on Facebook called ATC Swap UK and the theme for this month is Travel so here is one of the cards I have made:
I used a mask in the background and some images I found on the web along with a quickutz die kindly lent to me by my pal Ger over at Cullen Crafts.
The challenge over at Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge this week is Words or quotes, how perfect is this ATC I was working on. I used one of the new masks that I had made for Cullen Crafts (look out for them in the shop soon) with some modeling paste. I was so impatient for it to dry that I took my heat gun to it which produced the really cool texture as it all bubbled up. The rabbit is from The Next Big Thing cd from La Pashe and coloured with Copics.
