Have you ever had one of those moments when you think, “I’m really not sure if I like this or not”? Well that is how I felt when I finished this card. The greeting and doily in the middle are two of the first things I cut with my new cutting machine. I decided to cover the greeting with 3D glaze and I think that is possibly why I am unsure about it.
Flowers and bow from Mulberry Crafts
Co’ordinations card stock, Swiss Dots embossing folder
Anita’s 3D glaze
Please check out the other inspiration cards waiting for you over at Crafty Bloggers Network and remember that this month’s challenge closes on the 31st January
Another Friday another Friday Sketch Challenge card :)I decided to use another one of Alicia’s Stamps, this one is Photographer and I coloured her with my Copics then cut her out with a Spellbinders circle die making sure I didn’t cut her hands off.
Here is a sneak peak at part of the cards we are going to make in the “Clean and Simple” Class at Cullen Crafts on Tuesday 5th February. Please contact Ger on 01542 840827 or email email@example.com for more details:
As you can this is one stamp, but 2 totally different looks. a feminine and a masculine card will be made in the class, all materials supplied.
Time for a new card sketch over at the Friday Sketch challenge blog and this time it is Mariska’s turn.
I decided that my card would also use an image from a new talented digital stamp artist I have discovered, there are only a few stamps at the moment but I am looking forward to watching that amount grow. You can find the stamps at Alicia’s little shop and if you use one of them, why not enter it into her challenge for a chance to win an awesome prize of 10 Copic Sketch pens!

One of the swap groups I belong to has a postcard swap each month and January’s theme is Metallic New Year. Perfect excuse for me to get out those metalic flowers sent to us by our sponsor this month over at Crafty Bloggers Network who is Mulberry Crafts, they do some great flowers so please pop over and take a look. Although you cant really see it that well, the Laser cut chipboard clock from Gina’s designs is painted with metallic gold paint. The background was made using a mask and Stampendous frantage embossing enamel and distress ink.
I made this card with some freebie stamps from our sponsor this fortnight over at Friday Sketch Challenge blog, the Stamp Fairy
