Just a quick post to remind everyone there is still a few days left to get your entries in to the Friday Sketch Challenge, sponsored by Ladybug Crafts Inc I used the Christmas Robin Delight stamp again for my card and gave it a bit of a distressed look this time.

This stamp set from Chocolate baroque is called Ivy trails and although it was a little difficult to cut out it was worth it. I used pearly mists and glimmer mists to create all the colour on my tag and I stamped with Distress ink. Dont forget it is your last week to enter this months challenge over at Crafty Bloggers network to be in with a chance of winning a clear stamp set from our sponsors.
A new sketch this week at the Friday Sketch Challenge and we are sponsored by Ladybug Crafts inc.

It has been a while since I blogged one of my Swap Bot swaps so I thought I would share this Mandala I have created for December’s swap. I found another challenge blog for Zentangle called The Bright Owl Zendala Dare. The mandala template is Number 32 and I had great fun with it, I used some linnen effect paper to add a little interest and texture and I am really pleased with how it turned out.
I fell in love with these little Toread characters as soon as I saw them, they are just too cute (so much so I ordered 3 more stamps). Here are 2 postcards I made for a swap using the stamps I got with the CD (when it was on Create and Craft). I sprayed some kraft card with a pearly mist spray and then cut some leaves using a cuttlebug die. I ran the leaves through various embossing folders to give them some texture and glued them randomly on the card around the cut out Toread character (who were coloured with Copic pens ).
Here is another card from the Brush Strokes in the Wild CD. This time I used the Zebra image and the sketch from Friday Sketch challenge number 30 (remember you have until the 22nd november to join us)

The clear stamps from Chocolate Baroque are fabulous to use and stamp really well, I used WOW embossing powders on these little beauties to give them that extra pop. Join us over at Crafty Bloggers Network this month for a chance of winning your very own set of their clear stamps.

Whilst at the SECC I picked up the Brush Strokes in the Wild CD from Card Creations Plus and here is one of the sample cards I made for Nigel to take to the NEC. The art work on this cd is just stunning, Stan Kaminski is a very talented artist and it is great to be able to use his creations. I used the Elephant group from the CD and printed them onto Print It Decoupage paper (it prints out great every time) although you cant see it very well, the elephants are decoupaged up.
Wow the month of October has gone by so quickly, it is time for a new challenge over at the Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge blog. This month we are very lucky to be sponsored by Chocolate Baroque who have provided the DT with some yummy stamps to play with. Here is the first card that I have made using the stamps and some distress ink along with some newly discovered pearly mist sprays.
