It is Friday, its 5 o’clock and its………Crackerjack! Oops no it’s not, showing my age there I think (for those of you who read my blog from elsewhere please Google Crackerjack kids program lol)
It is ATCs and Cards with Attitude challenge time, this week I decided to make a card with the image from our sponsor I coloured it with Copics and mounted it onto a circle and scalloped circle cut with my Nesties. I used some of the Lucy Cromwell paper (from DoCrafts) with bunting flags on for my background.
When a friend asked me to make a New Great Grandparents card I was a little worried to start with as I wasnt sure how I was going to achieve this. In comes Wellington from Do Crafts and Tim Holtz Distress Markers from my favourite craft shop. I’m in love! these markers are great, they blend so well, although I will say I did find one paper they didn’t move on at all (not sure of the make as it was an odd scrap I had) Out came the distress inks to make the stark white card match the image and voila.
I love the way the card turned out (so did my friend thankfully) I used Tumbled Glass and Broken China distress ink pads and markers.
I had a wonderful afternoon yesterday over at Cullen Crafts with the talented Sarah Carrington making tis wonderful shadow box. We didnt quite have the time to finish it off so I completed mine this morning. I am so please with the way it turned out, now all I have to do it find somewhere to put it.
A friend asked if I could colour some poppies for her to put into a frame, of course I said yes and then got home a though ARGHHHH I have never coloured anything this size before with my Copics. The picture is approximately 10 inches by 8 inches and I am rather pleased with the way this one is going
Colours used so far are R59 R46, R29 and R35 I have yet to decide on the colours for the leaves.
Stay tuned for the completed version of this one and another one to be started 🙂
This week over at ATCs and cards with Attitude I chose the cute elephant from our sponsor for my atc which I coloured with my copics and then cut out to place on this bacground paper that someone had sent me. I finished it off with a papermania flower, button and thread. The quote was printed on my PC.
