Winter with Clarity and Instructables

Inside of snowglobe card made with Clarity Stamps

The theme for the challenge over at Clarity Stamp Challenge blog this month is Winter so I decided to create this snowglobe card, I made my own stencil for the snowglobe from a file cover.

I wrote instructions in order to put it on a site I belong to called Instructables, you can see them here.I would love it if you went and voted for me in the competition over there (you have to become a member to vote but that is free) There are all sorts of instructables on that site, just check it out – not only crafty stuff but pretty much anything you can imagine!

I used the Re mountable Winter Wonderland clear stamp set and the 21 Remountable Winter Trees Clear Stamp Set along with Chipped Sapphire and Vintage Photo Distress ink

Card using celtic framer mask from splodgeaway

This week on the blog over at SplodgeAway every one has been showing off a project of their choice with no particular theme in mind so here is the card that I made using the Celtic framer mask, I sponged glue through the mask and applied silky glitter to it (from creative expressions but I can’t remember the correct name)

I am really excited as I have received my DT package to prepare for the next Create and Craft show on August 27th. While I obviously can’t show you what is in it I can tell you that I am pretty sure you are going to LOVE the products I know I do

Summer Loving with SplodgeAway

Sending you Sunshine with SplodgeAway masks

Hi everyone, I hope we are all enjoying the sunshine, I know we are here. This week over on the SplodgeAway blog the theme is Summer Loving, I knew exactly what I was going to create as soon as I knew this. I  have been to a demo at the Papeterie in Aberdeen by the brilliant Sue Wilson and she created a card similar to this so that is where my inspiration came from.

I had a couple of pieces of card left over from another project but not enough to create a complete background so I cut triangular strips and created the rays. I used the Psychedelic mask set and some wild honey distress ink on the Easy Ink card to create the paper originally.

Hop on over to the blog to see what the rest of the crew have in store for you this week.

R is for Roses are red with SplodgeAway

Roses Are Red card using mask from SplodgeAway

Well ok they are not roses, but they are red 🙂 When I started to colour this Bugaboo image , I had them in yellow, then I remembered that for the new challenge over at ABC challenges, they should be red, so I ended up colouring over the top. Thank goodness for Copic pens! I used a mask from SplodgeAway to make the background.
