Through the mask with SplodgeAway

wall hanging using prima doll stamp and splodgeaway mask

As some of my regular readers may know I am on my yearly trip down to my Mum’s and having great fun sharing our hobby of papercrafting.

This week over on the SplodgeAway Blog is all about using different mediums with your masks, what do you like to use with yours? I have used all sorts of things with my masks, modeling paste, paint, glue, they all work great. For this weeks project I painted my cardboard with  some watercolour paints that used to belong to Dad, then inked through a Funky frame mask with perfect medium and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I used some glitter glue through the floral framer mask to create some texture on the left then I paper pieced one of my new Prima doll stamps with some scraps from Mum’s stash. I stamped over the clear embossing with the leafy swirl stamp from Clarity Stamps

Here is the result – a wall hanging for my Cousin’s wife for her birthday (Happy Birthday Nikki)
