Creative Expressions DT call

Shapes Card with texture

Whilst trawling the net for different things this morning I came across this call by Creative Expressions, I would dearly love to be part of their team as the stamps are such good quality and so varied. The DT entry calls for a challenge card to be made which includes texture and a stamp.

My card, as you can imagine at such short notice, is a little basic but the stamp is a Personal Impressions greeting stamp embossed with gold embossing powder. The girl is made from basic shapes cut with spellbinders circles and ovals, embossed with embossing folders (swiss dots and Boofle) and edged with Vintage Photo Distress ink. For extra texture I added the bakers twine and the lucky coin(Papermania)

How time flies!!

Where does it go I wonder, it only seems like yesterday that we were bringing home this tiny bundle of a boy who would change our lives forever. The first of our 2 sons was born 9 years ago today and he’s growing up so quickly.

Here he is just a month ago with his cheeky grin!

and here is the birthday card I made for him using the Wellington Ultimate Decoupage pack from DoCrafts

This is my DT inspiration card this week over at The Crafty Bloggers Network Blog – Don’t forget our DT call ends next week!

Today we are off to London to the Science Museum but I wanted to share with you the fab challenge over at the Crafty Bloggers Network, you could win this great prize from Cullen Crafts
