ATC card for january and last post for 2011

Cottage Artist Trading Card

Hi to all my blog readers, may I take this time to wish you all a Happy and Prosperous 2012.

I am sharing with you today an ATC (Artist Trading Card) that I have made for a swap at Crafty ideas by Kaz. Kaz & Geoff have a great craft shop down near my Mums which I frequent every time I am down there. This year I had the pleasure of joining 2 of their classes which were great fun, even got the chance to catch up with a couple of pals that I hadnt seen for an age! If you are ever in the area of Wivelsfield do pop in and see them, you get a very warm welcome and even a cuppa if you are lucky! Just click on the link above to get the details and directions.

Here is the ATC I made, the theme for January is cottages, I used a free stamp I found on the internet, cut out the window and put fabric and acetate behind it, coloured the image with copics and added flowersoft. I was rather pleased with the result:

I have also entered this swap into this weeks challenge at ATCs with Attitude

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Well the boys have been bugging me to get the Christmas tree up, so I went and struggled to get the huge box out of its hidey hole and bought it downstairs. The next hour was spent carefully (or not so carefully) putting on the ornaments and things and fixing the ones that had got broken. Phillip was quite proud of the results, and rightly so!

My Bad, and Thanks Santa

I’m sorry I havent put anything on here for a while, as you can imagine with 2 boys at age 7 & 8, things are a little hectic here. The boys seem to have a better social life than we do!

I really wanted to share with you the pictures I took last night in Cullen. Santa and his reindeer visited Cullen and the boys got to see Santa twice 🙂 Thanks to Santa for having his picture taken with the 2 of them outside in the bitterly cold wind.
