Dustin Pike meets One Stop Craft Challenge

I have been procrastinating over Dustin’s Challenge blog sketch for a week now and decided it was time to make a card for it. I used the One Stop Craft Challenge of “Make it Personal” to make a card for my Dad for his birthday, a little early as its not until March lol. Here it is:

Ingredients
Digital Image by Dustin Pike
Papermania Card blank
DCWV matt stack All about boys
Happy Birthday stamp (freebie with magazine)
Sissix Sock Hop Alpha dies

Gift box of sorts

I saw this box online and in Hobby Journaal paper & knew I just had to try & make it. I made myself a template in Corel and ended up with this:

It fits in 2 challenges this week, Cute Card Thursday challenge was Blooming Gorgeous! and the Trehouse Thursday Challenge wanted a flower & butterfly.

Ingredients
Paper by ScrapDesafios from KitAnarriê
Ribbon was a gift
Anitas Dimensions stickers

Gift Card

Over at La La Land Crafts Challenge this week they wanted a gift card, at Everybody Art Challenge they wanted the colours Blue Brown and white, Die cuts R Us called for ribbon and there was a really great sketch at Papertake Weekly Challenge. I came up with this little gift card holder:

Ingredients
Mo Manning image
Paper designed by me
Ribbon from stash

Take one shaped book, 3 sketches and some Christmas party pictures…

…and what do you get?

No its not a joke. I have been meaning to do something with this gear shaped book from Kut 4 U, which comes with a template (which is the Just Us Girls challenge for this week), 8 pages and a jump ring. I split it into 2 in order to do 1 book each for my boys. I took the sketch from Crafts for eternity to make the front page:

Then I turned it to make the 2nd page:

I then used Mojo Mondays Sketch for this page:

and then I used the Sketch and Stash sketch for this page:

I added another jump ring and some ribbon to complete 2 books with 4 double sided pages each 🙂 Job done!
Of course I did them all digitally but it would have been just as easy if I had done them traditionally, even if a little fiddly. If anyone is wondering why a gear shaped book, well thats easy, the boys got remote control cars as presents!
Ingredients
