Monthly Archives: December 2009

Where has December gone to?

Wow, what a month, after the frenzy of getting the last minute cards done (one of which I found whilst tidying yesterday – sorry Angus!) I seem to have lost half the month somewhere, and for those of you who know me well, not a drop of whisky was consumed lol.

I made this birthday card file up for a friend using the instructions found here, and the sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp I think it has come together quite well, I cant show you the inside as it is a birthday pressie.

Ingredients:
Bildmalarna stamp

Breezy Design Paper & ribbon
Cuttlebug Embossing folder
EK Success Retro Flower Punches
K & Co Rhinestones
Dandilion & Daisy sentiment

Getting slack, I have been creating honest!

I cant believe how quickly the weeks are going, in the run up to Christmas. I have been busy but just have not had time to post between shopping, parties and working I dont have much time to myself at the moment and I KNOW the kids have a better social life than we do. We did get the chance to go as a family to see Santa and his reindeer when they came to Cullen this week though, that was quite special.

Here are a few things I have been up to this week on the crafting front, a couple of cards:
this one was done for the Pollycraft Monday Challenge number 30

This one was done using a sketch but I can’t for the life of me remember where – Thanks to the lovely Emma for pointing out that the sketch was from Stamp With Fun and you can find it here.

and last one for now, a box made to hold a gift for someone the instructions for which are here

Fire breathing dragon – not!

We had our first kids christmas party to go to yesterday and the kids had a blast but Mummy needed a bit of time to herself by the time we got home. I took the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp, Rosie D’s colours of Red, Green and a bit of bling, and 2 Red Bananas Stay warm theme and came up with a card. OK I know the dragon isnt quite breathing fire, but thats what dragons normally do right? C’mon bit of lateral thinking here please šŸ™‚
