Playing catch up

First of all today I would like to say a HUGE thanks to Ger form Cullen Crafts and Jenny and Tracy from the Squiggle Stamps team for a wonderful end to what would have been a disaterous day. I had so much fun at the demo they were doing that I just had to come home and play with my new stamps (after feeding the family of course lol)
This morning I have made a card with one of them using the sketch from Sketch Saturday and working in the ideas from Kraftin Kimmi for circles, Allsorts Challenge for a child’s card, Crazy 4 Challenges wanted acetate and last but not least, Just us Girls wanted dry embossing with a birthday card as an added twist. Without further ado here is the card I made:

Daisy with Gift from Squiggle Stamps coloured with Copics
Royal Langnickel card blank
Papermania Sweet Nothings paper pack
Sizzix Texture Plate
Cuttlebug Embossing folder
Sakura Pens
Ribbon from the Purple Ribbon pack I won from Creative Inspirations Challenge

Box of Goodies

Nope its not a card, but heaps of cards and card making “stuff” this time. I had a box of goodies arrive this morning from Gina, it was full of cards for my upcoming craft fair, a bunch of sissix and cuttlebug stuff I had bought and had shipped to Gina’s address, a present for Roddie, some candy for the boys and last but not least THE most wonderful knitted elephant from Megan. Unfortunately I cant get a good picture of it (see previous post for that saga), but I can tell you it is purple and very soft and is sitting proudly on the top of my PC screen.

Yet another snowman

I know, I know, its getting a little tedious, yet another snowman lol. I must say sorry for the picture though as my camera was having a few battery issues this morning, and do you think I can find the spare battery, worse still I can’t find the charger either so I have had to resort to the “little” camera for my pictures.
Enough of that, you want to see the card right? well I need to tell you where I got the inspiration from so you will have to wait a little longer. Firstly I took the sketch from The little Paper Shop, added some snow from Crafty Creations, and finally a snowflake and greeting Christmas embelishment from Creative Belli Blog.
ok drumroll please…….here is the final result:
